Elena and I are losing a friend of 8 years who is taking a transfer to Hawaii. We needed a special place to take her for her farewell dinner. We chose Piqueo's. It was a pleasant surprise in every way. I t is quaint and charming. The staff is wonderful. The food was truly 5-star. We also discovered a superb Peruvian wine called Mecenas. This restaurant is wonderful and special. Elena and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a little bit of the charm of Peru in San Francisco
